Meet Liza Fisher, MBA RTY200, a national healthcare advocate and yoga teacher committed to providing education around Long Covid & IACC's. In the wellness space, she specializes in a multi-experiential approach to regulation for those whom have experienced erasure, ableism and exclusion within the yoga world and beyond. In 2019 Liza traveled to Rishikesh, India to study at Arohan Yoga School. Liza's journey as a yoga instructor began right before the pandemic. After being hospitalized, she personally experienced the long-lasting effects of COVID-19 herself. Rather than succumbing to the difficulties posed by the illness, she used her experience as a catalyst to create positive change. Her journey of resilience and determination has been an inspiration to many. Having the lived experience in a body with varying functionality forced Liza to adapt at warp speed and in 2021 she began certifications in chair yoga. Currently Liza is certified in chair yoga as well as Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Aerial. She utilizes her training as well as personal rehab, recovery and chronic illness management experience in the cultivation of a safe spaces for individuals to connect mind, body and spirit through breathe, movement, healing and connection.
